Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply whenever you visit duitpm.com, create an account, or buy or use any product from Just DUIT (Pvt) Ltd ("Just DUIT", "we", "us"). Please read them before you buy. By using our products or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Just DUIT (Pvt) Ltd is a private limited company incorporated in Sri Lanka (company registration number PV 119991), with its registered office at No. 459, Thimbirigasyaya Road, Colombo 05, Sri Lanka. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. What we sell
We build and sell digital products, including:
- Software subscriptions: web and mobile apps you access for a recurring monthly or yearly fee.
- Courses and exam-preparation content: self-paced digital lessons, practice questions and learning materials.
Each product page describes what's included, the price and the billing period. That description forms part of these Terms for your purchase.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login details private. You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
- Accounts are for one person unless your plan says otherwise. Please don't share logins.
- If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms and make the purchase for you.
4. Orders and payment
Depending on the product, your order is handled by one of our payment partners. Your receipt shows which one.
- Paddle. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all such orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for those orders, and your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
- PayHere. For orders paid through PayHere, Just DUIT (Pvt) Ltd is the seller and PayHere processes the card or wallet payment for us.
Prices are shown at checkout, including any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live. We never see or store your full card number. It goes directly to the payment partner.
5. Subscriptions
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment method on file, until you cancel.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- Price changes. If we change a subscription price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, so you have time to cancel if you don't want to continue.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may pause access until it's resolved.
6. Refunds
Our Refund Policy explains when and how you can get your money back. It forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer law where you live.
7. Using our products
When you buy a product, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for the period you've paid for. You agree not to:
- copy, resell, share, publish or redistribute our software or course materials, including questions, videos and notes;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or try to access our source code or systems, except where the law allows this;
- use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content;
- use our products for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms other users or our services.
8. Courses and exam preparation
Our learning content is for education and practice. We work hard to keep it accurate and current, but we can't guarantee any particular exam result, grade or outcome. Unless a product page says so, we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any examination board or awarding body, and any exam names are used only to describe what the content covers.
9. Our content and your content
We (or our licensors) own all rights in our products, branding and materials. Anything you create or upload stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide the service to you.
10. Changes and availability
We improve our products regularly and may change or remove features. If we make a change that significantly reduces what you've paid for, we'll let you know. If you don't want to continue, you can ask for a pro-rated refund of any unused prepaid period. We aim to keep things running smoothly but can't promise the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Disclaimer
Apart from what these Terms expressly say, our products are provided "as is" and "as available". This doesn't affect any guarantees that consumer law gives you and that can't be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, data or opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Suspension and termination
You can stop using our products and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms. If we close your account without a good reason under these Terms, we'll refund any unused prepaid period.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Colombo have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protection of any mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If the changes are significant, we'll also email active customers before they take effect.
